A tent trailer is made like most canvas tents, with the main difference being it is mounted on a small trailer. The most basic ones have the same lay out as a tent but offer more storage and may make a longer trip easier to pack for. The largest tent trailer styles have rooms that extent out past the main frame when it is assembled. During transport these extra walls are tucked into the trailer and folded away. You can also attach screen rooms in front to extend your bug free living space.
