If your campsite includes a picnic table this can be an excellent spot to set up your camping gear and organize all your camping accessories. Things such as pots and pans, utensils and a good all in one knife are great to have. A cook stove should be included in your camping supplies, these can range from simple lightweight one burner stoves (great for backcountry trips) or the popular two burner stoves. Think about what camping food you’ll bring along and what is needed to prepare it. Don’t forget to pack your camping chairs!

Lastly, go camping a couple of times and see how you like it. See what activities, camping games you enjoy and go from there. There is such an abundance of camping supplies available that it can get pricey, try purchasing discount camping equipment at some of the larger retail outlets.
