TRAIL REPORT
Thursday - time to hike
Where should we go this week, friend?
Mailbox, but of course
No one at Eastgate
The trailhead is where we meet
Five cars, six people
Gray enshrouds the peak
The Cascade Foothills in Spring
Prediction: No views
Dan, Darlene, Larry
Early ones already gone
Patience no virtue
Don, Lynda, and Mark
A second wave of hikers
Vow made - catch others
Parking lot is full
We won't be alone tonight
Question: This your dog?
Muddy, steep and slick
Dark forest, logs, hidden roots
Conditions normal
One for the talus
Old boots of forgotten wear
Mark will learn to fall
More fog, less vision
The summit must be nearby
I need oxygen
Soon all are present
Pictures to take, shark to kiss
Dan is hard to miss
Cold shortens our stay
On to the endless descent
Talk of beer fuels us
9:20 PM
Headlamps unneccessary
Bar & grill awaits
Food, drink and good cheer
Rehashing old adventures
Can't wait for next week!
Pratt is upcoming
The Solstice is in three weeks
Oust - Mesahchie Mark
