Mark's Hike Summary:

The first hike of the season was a blazing success. Seven intrepid hikers set out under blustery skies to scale the heights of "Little" Mount Si: all one thousand, six hundred and seventy-nine terrifying feet of it...

OK, it wasn't quite that bad, but the wind was up, the thunder did roar, and a decent hail storm contributed to a memorable hike. In contrast, the skies actually cleared up enough for impressive views of Mt Si proper, and many stars shone down their approval. (No killer asteroids were sighted, though - sorry, Don)

Once atop, wine, champagne, and strawberries were dished out. Much thanks to Linda for bringing the requisite wine and strawberries (and pretzels)! A call was then made to certain individuals now living in Colorado, to quietly remind them what they left behind. :D Reception was spotty, but the feeling was loud and clear...

All too soon, the group remembered that it's still Winter, and so we left for the warm confines of suburbia. Arguably, the worse weather was encountered on the way out. Joan receives extra bonus TNAB points for converting her sedan into an SUV. (TNAB points good for dibs on food items at the Rattlesnake Ledge cookout, a mere six months away)
