Matt's Hike Summary:

Short report on Bandera;

Since we last visited, a fair bit of trail work has been done (although this does not include adding switch-backs in the steep middle section) and it's acting like a real trail. Much to our amazement, there were about 6 other hikers coming down as well (never seen another soul on Bandera before). It was a beauuutiful evening again, and the bear grass was in full bloom. Very pretty! also very buggy. Linda brought wine for the top (thanks Linda!) AND beer for the bottom! (double thanks Linda!!). I returned the favor by dropping Linda's cork-screw way down between rocks in the talus field (sorry Linda!).
