Matt's Hike Summary:

Fantastic night for a hike on Granite last night! We do this on the solstice every year and so far are 3-0 on having beauuuuutiful weather. The air was much cleaner than last week making for excellent views in all directions. The party was quite a bit advanced from last year and included champagne, truffles, fresh strawberries, beer, fig newtons, and even some cognac! (which went extremely well with the truffles I might add). The glissading was also top-notch and we all had fun sliding back down the snow for a bit. A 2/3 waxing moon provided some extra beauty on an already exquisite sunset. We had dallied a bit on top, so not out by dark, but well worth it!
